Side Face Grand Square:
Standing there on main street across from Mr. Blues in my faded leather jacket and
weathered brogan shoes. A chill north wind was blowing but the spring was coming on.
I wondered to myself.
Alemande Left and Weave
I strolled across old main street, walked down a flight of stairs, stepped into the hall and
saw all my friends were there. A neon sign was flashing, welcome come on in.
Feels so good, feeling good again.

My favorite band was playing an Otis Redding song.
When they sang the chorus, everybody sang along.
Dan and Margarita were swaying side by side.
Alemande Left and Weave
I wished I had some money with which to buy a round.
I wished I’d cashed my paycheck before I came to town.
I reached into my pocket and found 3 twenties and a ten.
Feels so good, feeling good again.

There was old man Perkins sitting on a stool, watching Butch and Jimmy John talking loud
and playing pool. The boys from Silver City were standing by the fire.
Alemande Left and Weave
I wanted you to see them all. I wished that you were there.
I looked across the room and saw you standing on the stairs.
and when I caught your eyes I saw you break into a grin.
Feels
so good, feeling good again.
It feels so good I'm feeling good again.
